Pet Information

Snake River Veterinary Center Expectations Policy

All procedures must be paid, IN FULL, at the time services are rendered.

We will review the treatment plan and its fees with you in advance of all surgical procedures or non-routine workups. We want you to feel comfortable discussing your financial responsibilities with us so we can help maximize the health of your pet while staying in line with your ability to pay.

Payment options include Cash, MasterCard®, Visa®, or Discover Card®. We do not accept checks as a form of payment. An alternative option is to apply for a payment plan through Cherry Payments. Please ask one of our staff members if you are interested in this option.

In the event a check is taken and returned as NSF (non-sufficient funds), a $30 NSF fee will be applied. If the balance on the account is not satisfied immediately, the check will be turned over to a collection agency for further collection.

Non-Routine Procedures and Emergencies: As with routine procedures, payment is due at the time of service. A deposit of 50-75% of the expected bill must be paid before the procedure/treatment is performed.

If, for any reason, a bill is not satisfied at the time of service, you will be requested to apply for a payment plan with Cherry® Payments. If you are denied credit from this platform, a promissory note must be completed. In this event, no medications, food, or other products will be released until the balance is paid in full. By signing this form, you agree that interest will accrue on all past due amounts at the rate of 36% per annum (3% per month) or $8 minimum, whichever is greater, until paid in full. In the event any amount(s) is/are referred to a third-party debt collection agency, you agree to pay a collection fee of 28%, interest, court costs, and reasonable attorney’s fees. If the account reaches this point, Snake River Veterinary Center will no longer provide veterinary services, and you will be asked to transfer your pets’ medical records to another facility.

One of our core values here at Snake River Veterinary Center states, “We will communicate directly & respectfully with all humans.” As we hold ourselves to this standard, we ask that you, the client, also uphold this value when interacting with others within our facility. If, for any reason, you have a grievance, please respectfully let one of our staff members know so they can direct you to the appropriate person to handle your complaint. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who behaves inappropriately or treats our staff disrespectfully. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
